MODERN AND LUXURIOUS WEDDING IN THESSALONIKI

A black tie dress code, a timeless wedding of white, blush and gold details and a party with a surprise wardrobe change and a lot of dancing, we’re sure loving everything about this refined and luxurious wedding.

Sleek and sophisticated, this one is for the sworn lovers of clean and neutral palettes with a gold twist. Just like this beautiful couple, the spectacular photos by 2 Brides Photographyare sure to stand the test of time.

Stephanie and Robin are one of these few couples who have put a great deal of thought on their wedding day and they were very excited to let us design a celebration equal parts elegant and inviting for their loved ones who came all the way from Gothenburg. As a pair of Swedes, their preference was for an outdoor wedding, both ceremony and reception wise, that would elegant, modern and stylish. Their love for the understated chic meant going for the most time-tested color palette, white on white with blush and gold accents. For the ceremony, the bride wanted to have a traditional religious ceremony but she also wanted to make her Swedish guests feel at home, leading to select the perfect location for their heartfelt ceremony. They exchanged I Dos at the American Farm School chapel, which when decorated right; it truly is a sight to behold. We asked the stationery designer to create a custom illustration of the quaint church, to use as the key element on the invitation suite. It was a beautiful foreshadowing of what the guests would experience at the wedding. Sticking with the white and nude color palette, our amazing florist created the perfect flowery backdrop and hung nude curtains that beautifully framed the front of the church. This floral installation became the centerpiece of floral décor for the wedding, later repurposed into the backdrop of the bridal table! We set up the chairs amphitheatrically, and placed calligraphy reserved cards for their closest ones in the first two rows. Soon all the guests were in their seats -the couple was very insistent that all 160 of them were seated so that Stephanie could get the magical moment of everyone getting up to welcome her as she walked down the aisle to the sound of the cello and violin playing her favorite tune. Robin, clearly emotional was looking at his wife-to-be approaching with a huge smile. After taking some minutes to congratulate one another and to dab their eyes, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen dressed to the nines, took group pictures with tons of rose petals tossed at them.

For the reception decor, both Stephanie and Robin wanted to have both a 3 course dinner under a canopy of twinkle lights but they also wanted to party until the wee hours of the morning. Our venue served as the perfect canvas with its clean modern lines to incorporate romantic textures like the gold foil in the design of the menu and calligraphy, glass-encased taper candles, delicate crystal glassware and a luscious table runner that draped elegantly on both sides of the bridal table. Each guest took as a favor a porcelain evil eye that protects against bad luck and negative energy, encased in a box with the customary dragées and the couple's monogram on top. Just before the couple made their big entrance through an array of fireworks, a group of musicians entered the venue and set the party vibe. But the surprises didn't stop there. Our bride changed into a beaded, statement-making mini dress with puff sleeves for her first dance and cake cutting. After that, it was a full dance floor and people having the time of their lives!
