You may have heard that the pine forests of Mount Itamos in Halkidiki conceal the world’s ‘oldest living tree’, or perhaps that its pleasures are as Manifold as the ones
you can find in Mykonos or any other wedding destination in Greece. But what you
don’t know unless you’ve spent a significant amount of time in its sophisticated resorts
is that the landscape, the tranquility and the natural elegance have turned into the perfect incentive for the well-heeled to spend their days secluded in total comfort, escaping
from their busy lifestyle. For those reasons and many more the glamorous destination
is endlessly alluring to brides and grooms, too, couples just like beautiful Tania and
her Ian who came all the way from Scotland to tie the knot at the Zattero Seaside
in Fourka, where through surrounding olive groves, pine forests, and meadows lead
to the waterfront.
A romantic and bright colorful palette with golden accents was the basis of the design
of this finely curated micro wedding. The ceremony was held in the late afternoon on
a cliff overlooking the sea, where the couple's closest friends and family witnessed
the lovely Tania and Ian exchange vows in front of a circular bakdrop decorated with flowers and pampas grass.
The long dinner table that would accommodate all the guests was set up underneath
a tunnel of fairy lights. The woven chargers, the white porcelain dinnerware and the golden flatware were the canvas that brought out the colorful floral arrangements
and the finely designed stationery. Soon after the dinner was over, the party started
and the guests danced along with the happy couple until the early morning hours.
