Byron and Ersie met in 2007, while studying in Brighton, UK and they have been together ever since. Their relationship has been a true inspiration for us while planning their special day, because they have been dealing with a lot of difficulties, while travelling back and forth for a few years, in order to be together. I could see their happiness and anticipation to be together forever from our first appointment! Byron asked Ersie to marry him in 2015 in Brighton, while on vacation. He proposed outside the house they used to live in while studying there. Byron is a true romantic!

We started planning their wedding almost a year before. We chose an amazing church just outside Thessaloniki, in order to have an outdoor ceremony, and a roof balcony for the party, called Aldebaran (like the star complex). Our color palette was peach ant mint, with splashes of gold.

We first started designing the invitations, the favors and the rest of the printables, such as door hangers, fans etc. We used white wax seal and included the star complex of Aldebaran subtly in the design. We loved the logo of their monograms so we used it a lot!

Since we knew it was going to be a very emotional day for them and for their families and friends, we wanted to create a romantic, yet elegant, atmosphere and to pay attention to every detail. So, for us, the decision was simple. We wanted swings with flowers and they immediately said yes! When Ersie arrived at the church, a violin and a cello were playing music, the swings were full of beautiful flowers and the guest were waiting while eating sweet treats and drinking…something c-old! Some of our favorite details were the tailor made cake toppers and the mosquito repellent bottles!

Upon their arrival to the party, we lit up 27 flying lanterns, like the wedding date, one for each table of guests, while they were dancing to “Sweet Child O’ Mine” of Guns N’ Roses. Everybody had lots of fun, dancing until early in the morning, while drinking delicious cocktails.

“If I were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If we were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one.”
